Police say a man ran away from them after serving a warrant in Bell County.
Investigators say Thomas Johnson ran off after they took him to Jail Sunday.
Johnson was wanted on a kidnapping charge.
In September, officials say he took a woman and restrained her to injure or terrorize her.
Following a brief search by police, officials were able to arrest Johnson and take him to jail.

A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to meet up with a 13-year-old.
Officers responded to a Middlesboro parking lot where the minor’s mother told them that James Dunaway, 34, had been sending sexual messages and trying to meet the minor. She said that when she found out about the conversation, she took it over.
Messages from Dunaway included sexual phrases and questions.
Police said in documents that Dunaway had come to the parking lot in an attempt to meet the 13-year-old.
Dunaway was taken to the Bell County Detention Center. Charges of using an electronic communication device to procure a minor are pending.
On Friday October 6, a Pineville man was arrested on a sexual offense.
After a thorough investigation by Bell County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jared Smith, Deputies Patrick Books and Justin Patterson served a warrant on 60 year old Staff Nunley at his residence stemming from an incident reported on June 29, 2017.
The warrant states that Nunley attempted to engage in deviate sexual intercourse with another person aged 13.
Nunley was arrested lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with:
Criminal attempt to commit sodomy 2nd degree
Staff Nunley is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
