A motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 25E near Faith Temple Church around 4 pm on Sunday afternoon. According Bell County officials two people were injured and Air Evac was called in for transporting the injured. Bell County Sheriff’s office, Bell County EMS, Bell County Rescue Squad, and Bell County Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident scene. No other information has been released.

Kentucky State Police are asking for help finding two Bell County Forestry Camp inmates who escaped Sunday evening.
Jason Norris was serving a 50-year sentence and would have been eligible for parole in August of 2029. He is six feet two inches tall, 180 pounds and has red-auburn hair.
Anthony Drury was serving a 20-year sentence and would have been eligible for parole in 2020. He is five feet eleven inches tall, 160 pounds, has red hair and blue eyes.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports
A Cumberland man was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison in Harlan Circuit Court recently on charges including felony drunk driving.
Edward Reese, 30, of Cumberland, appeared with his attorney Will Seidelman in front of Harlan Circuit Court Judge Kent Hendrickson for sentencing on Aug. 16. Commonwealth’s Attorney Parker Boggs and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Jonathon Lee handled the case for the state.
Reese was sentenced on charges stemming from his October arrest by Kentucky State Trooper Jimmy Halcomb.
